Smartphone giant Samsung has never failed in giving tough competition to other companies through its exclusive features and elegant ideas in its devices. Recently, Samsung has launched two new smartphone variants As J5 and J7 prime in India. Earlier these smartphones were launched in September with 16GB internal storage. Now they are all set to revamp the markets with its bigger version.

The new Samsung galaxy J5 and J7 prime have been launched officially in India priced at Rs. 14,900 and Rs. 16,000 respectively. Both the variants are now available across the retail smartphone stores across the country and also on e-commerce websites. The company officially announced the launch through Twitter on the launch day.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 prime runs on a Quad core processor whereas the J7 runs on an Octa core processor. The former is equipped with 2GB RAM while the latter one with 3GB RAM. The J5 prime runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) while J7 Prime runs Android 6.1 (Marshmallow). Both the devices support Nano Sims and have dual Sim Feature. The Samsung Galaxy J5 has 64 Bit Quad core, 1.4GHz, cortex A53 processor and J7 is equipped with 64bit Octa core 1.6GHz, Cortex, A53 processor. Both have surpassed their predecessors and come with 32GB internal memory now. They support all types of 4G, 3G and 2G sims. Battery on J5 prime 2400mAh while of J7 prime is 3300mAh. Their capacity extends up to 256GB.

Display – both the devices come with TFT screen type with the screen to body ration of 69.28% in J5 prime and 73.13% In J7 prime. The former has a 5’ inches display while the latter comes with 5.5’’ Inches. Both have HD display one with 720×1280 pixels and the other with 1080×1920 pixels. Both the phones have multi touch captivate touchscreens in them.

Camera -the J5 comes with a 5megapixel front camera with 2.2f aperture and J7 comes with a better 8 megapixel front camera with 1.9f aperture. Both the lenses are provided with high dynamic range mode and continuous shooting mode. The image resolution in both the lenses is 4128×3096 pixels. Digital zoom. Face detection, auto flash, and touch focus is presented in both the handsets. However there is no Autofocus and auto image stabilization in both the devices.

Design – both the handsets are presented in Black and royal Gold colour. J5 weighs 146 grams whereas J7 weighs 167 grams. The former has a width of 69.5 mm and thickness of 8.1mm while the latter has the width of 75 mm and a thickness of 8.0mm. Both have a 3.5mm jack for headsets and earphones or other uses. The phones are having a unibody metal design with a glass of 2.5D on front.

Overall viewing both gadgets have lived up to the expectations of the customers like their earlier parts, they now come with more memory which makes them more attractive and useful in today’s market demands.
